Two computer specialists working on a new program called the Rosetta Stone, an unbreakable encryption code, find themselves involved in a heist carried out by a vicious gang of software thieves. One specialist survives and goes on the run with his new program only to find the gang in hot pursuit. When an old-fashioned detective teams up with an FBI agent to follow the trail of the thieves they find death and destruction.
